Classes are non refundable - live online classes will continue online if the centre is unavailable for any reason including but not restricted to lockdowns.
The booking is on a monthly basis and class fees are paid monthly, until cancelled by sending an email.
When you attend a trial you have 48 hours to secure your booking by making the payment for the membership fee.
Your booking is for the rest of the month, ongoing until cancelled.
If you join mid month and want to book the space, then you need to pay for the remainder of the sessions for the month.

Your personal information will NOT be shared with any third parties.
As a member you can expect ongoing information about your classes, as well as information about upcoming classes, promotions, and events that might be relevant to you and your children.
Trial session:

The membership fee covers the participants insurance for the year and is renewed every September. The membership fee must be paid upon booking and is non refundable once you have attended the sessions. If you choose to stop the sessions and payment of the subscription fee your able to return without paying a further membership fee if its before August of the same year of paid membership. Which is September to August. Subject to availability.
Monthly subscription:
Subscription fees are requested the 1st of each month.
Non payment of subscription fee results in loss of space for nominated session.
Subscription fees are none refundable.
Subscription fees are non transferable.
Missed sessions are non-refundable and non-transferable.
The monthly subscription is the cost of the class fee and is divided equally over 11 months. Ladybird school of gymnastics runs for 34 weeks of the year. From September to August. Your monthly payment plan covers you for all of these classes. Bank Holidays, Christmas breaks and summer holidays are Not included in this cost. These payments are divided into 11 equal monthly payments to make it more affordable. If you join at the beginning of the gymnastics year or the middle of the gymnastics year your monthly cost remains the same.
If there are 2 or 5 weeks in the month the monthly costs remains the same. This must be paid to keep your place within the sessions. Failure to pay the monthly subscription will result in the loss of your place within the sessions.
Certificate and badge - opting out
If you would NOT like your gymnast to receive their certificate and badge at the end of each term you are required to opt out BEFORE the start of the last month of that term.
Your right to cancel:
If you book sessions and change your mind before the first session you may request a refund, minus the 3% platform booking fee. Request must be made by email.
You are free to cancel the monthly subscription at any point, please email us of your wish to do so before the 20th of that month and no further payments will be deducted from your card.
Your details:
Your details are held on the Class4kids/Stripe database Ladybird School of Gymnastics does not have direct access to any card information that is supplied upon booking. The details we do have pertain to your child which we use in case of emergency or to communicate with you or send information about the sessions available. If you no longer wish to receive marketing information please inform us by email and you will be removed form the mailing list.
How to attend:
Leotards must be worn. Boys and girls leotards are available to order
Only active-wear may be worn
No jeans
No non gymnastics footwear, must have a soft sole
No jewellery should be worn at anytime
Long hair tied up
No belts
No buttons
No buckles
Responsibility:
Ladybird School of Gymnastics do our utmost to provide a safe environment for participants however gymnastics involves a certain element of risk, which may result in bodily injury to the participant. By making the booking you agree and take responsibility if this occurs.
Parent and toddler classes:
At all times the toddler gymnast is the responsibility of the parent or guardian and should not be left unattended at any point.
At no time should the parent or guardian use the equipment. Any accident or injury sustained, ladybird school of gymnastics will not be held accountable.
Safeguarding:
Gymnastics requires the Coach to perform some manual spotting which involves direct physical contact and which is designed to assist the participant in the safe performance of the skills. Coaches have enhanced DBS certificates.
Coaches are not responsible for the children before and after class please make sure that your child is being dropped off and picked up on time.
A child who is late maybe refused access to class.
Ladybird School of Gymnastics are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Codes of conduct for parents and carers
As parents you are expected to:
Positively reinforce your child and show an interest in their chosen activity.
Do not place your child under pressure or push them into activities they do not want to do.
Complete and return the Registration, Medical and Consent Form pertaining to your child's participation with Ladybird School of Gymnastics.
Deliver and collect your child punctually before and after sessions/the event.
Ensure your child has clothing and kit appropriate.
Any child not in possession of the fundamental requirements will not be permitted to participate.
Detail any relevant medical concerns or conditions pertaining to their child on the registration/consent form. Any changes in the state of the child's health should be reported to the coach/school/event staff prior to the activity.
To inform the organiser prior to the activity starting if your child is to be collected early.
Encourage your child to play by the rules, and teach them that they can only do their best.
Ensure that your child understands their code of conduct.
Behave responsibly on the side-line; do not embarrass your child.
Show appreciation and support the coach/club/event staff.
Ensure your child is punctual.
Be realistic and supportive.
Accept the officials judgement and do not enter training area.
Promote your childs participation in playing sport for fun.
As a parents/carer you have the right to:
Be assured that your child is safeguarded during their participation in sport.
Be informed of problems or concerns relating to your children.
Be informed if your child is injured.
Have your consent sought for issue such as trips or photography.
Have any concerns about any aspect of your childs welfare listened to responded to.
Any breaches of this code of conduct will be dealt with immediately by a Ladybird School of Gymnastics official. Persistent concerns or breaches may result in you being asked not to attend sessions if your attendance is considered detrimental to the welfare of young participants.
The ultimate action should a parent/guardian continue to breach the code of behaviour may be the Ladybird School of Gymnastics officials regrettably asking your child to leave the session, event or club. :
Code of conduct for children and young people:
Ladybird School of Gymnastics is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of all its members. The club believes that it is important that members,
coaches, administrators and parents associated with the club should, at all times, show respect and understanding for the safety and welfare of others. Therefore, members are encouraged to be open at all times and to share any concerns or complaints that they may have about any aspect of the club with the "desk"
Sports clubs should offer a positive experience for children and young people where they can learn new things in a safe and positive environment.
As a member of Ladybird School of Gymnastics, you are expected to abide by the following junior code of practice:
Children and young people are expected to:
Be loyal and give their friends a second chance.
Be friendly and particularly welcoming to new members.
Be supportive and committed to other team members, offer comfort when required.
Keep yourself safe.
Report inappropriate behaviour or risky situations.
Play fairly and be trustworthy.
Respect officials and accept decisions.
Show appropriate loyalty and be gracious in defeat.
Respect others
Not cheat or be violent and aggressive.
Make your club a fun place to be.
Keep within the defined boundary of the coaching area.
Behave and listen to all instructions from the coach. Play within the rules and respect the official and their decisions.
Show respect to other youth members/leaders and show team spirit.
Take care of equipment owned by the club.
Respect the rights, dignity and worth of all participants regardless of age, gender, ability, race, cultural background or religious beliefs or sexual identity.
Refrain from the use of bad language or racial/sectarian references. This includes bullying using new technologies like chat-rooms or texting.
Not get involved in inappropriate peer pressure and push others into something they do not want to do.
Refrain from bullying or persistent use of rough and dangerous play.
Keep to agreed timings for training and competitions or inform their coach if they are going to be late.
Wear suitable kit; active wear or Leotard for training, as agreed with the coach.
Pay any fees for training for events promptly.
Children / Young People have the right to:
Be safe and happy in their chosen activity.
Be listened to.
Be respected and treated fairly.
Privacy.
Enjoy gymnastics in a protective environment.
Be referred to professional help if needed.
Be protected from abuse by other member or outside sources.
Participate on an equal basis, appropriate to their ability.
Experience competition and the desire to win.
Be believed.
Ask for help.
Have any concerns taken seriously and acted on.
Any minor misdemeanours and general misbehaviour will be addressed by the coach and reported verbally to the designated person. More serious or persistent misbehaviour may result in disciplinary action and potentially dismissal from the club/sport. Parents will be informed at all stages.
Disciplinary action can be appealed to the coach with final decisions taken by the club.
